Evidant can provide you and your staff with an understanding of the tools, methodologies for implementation and the information you need to maximize the benefits of your Evidant solution.  Good tools are only part of our solution.  Evidant training provides:

  • Targeted topics and material designed to ensure that your organization can focus its learning on the areas that are most pertinent to your project and initiatives

  • Flexible formats including classroom, on-site and shadow sessions

Evidant training is designed to:

  • Reduce implementation time.  Evidant’s focus on a rigorous implementation methodology ensures trained personal are able to quickly obtain critical business information for use by Evidant’s tools.
  • Obtain value sooner.  Participants are able to more quickly perform analysis of the Business Impact of IT and how to rapidly collaborate about their results with others in the organization.
  • Enable Cross-Training.  The focus on implementation process assures that participants in the training program are able to share their knowledge with others in the organization.

Evidant provides training in two specific areas:  EvidantSP and Service Quality Methodology.

EvidantSP Installation:  This training is for those who are installing the EvidantSP Visualization and Analysis Suite.  Topics covered include:

  1. Planning for EvidantSP
  2. Configuring the Server(s) for Installation
  3. Installing EvidantSP’s Components
  4. Testing the installation
  5. Administration of Users and Preferences

EvidantSP Implementation:  This training is for those who are implementing the EvidantSP Visualization and Analysis Suite.  Topics covered include:

  1. Setting up and Testing Connections to Data Collection Tools
  2. Capturing the Business Processes and Activities
  3. Adding and Editing Business Channels and Locations
  4. Basic Navigation using Analyzer
  5. Advanced Analysis using Analyzer
  6. Creating and Editing Analysis Groups and Hierarchies

Production Metrics Methodology:  Participants learn a structured methodology for implementing Business Impact reporting for applications that are already in production and being used by end-users.  This non-tool specific training covers the following topics:

  1. Overall methodology for Business Impact reporting
  2. Techniques for capturing key Business Activity, business requirements and business related metrics for each key Business Activity
  3. Interviewing techniques for identifying real business requirements
  4. Techniques for developing and negotiating end-user Service Level Agreements (SLA's) between the business users and the IT organization

Life Cycle Metrics Methodology:  Participants will learn a structured methodology for building application performance and availability into the development of new releases and brand new applications.  The following topics are addressed:

  1. Building Performance and Availability into Application Definition and Design.
  2. Integrating Metrics into existing Processes and Methodologies
  3. Service Level Agreement (SLA) Design, Review and Implementation
  4. Monitoring Tool Review and Gap Analysis
