EvidantSP Components


Analyzer: This is the EvidantSP cockpit where the EvidantSP User can discover, analyze, visualize and collaborate. The three dimensions of analysis: space, time and paradigm are all presented to the user allowing a limitless ability to obtain knowledge buried in the data collected from all of EvidantSP's connectors.

Analyzer provides a visual means of choosing the entities of interest for visualization and analysis. It is designed to allow the EvidantSP user to navigate across the highest levels down to individual transactions. Thousands of entities can be represented and an unlimited number hierarchies can be created to provide alternate views of the same information.



Business Activity Toolkit (BAT): EvidantSP's BAT is where Business Processes, Activities, Channels, Locations, and other facets of the business are captured. BAT provides a process driven approach to building a business model of areas where business metrics of IT are desired. In addition BAT can be used to determine an organizations's metrics strategy and appropriate toolset's. This avoids the costly approach of first selecting and implementing end user monitoring before a well researched and documented metrics strategy is in place.






Data Import Manager: In addition to transactional data, EvidantSP can connect to and import other types of data such as KPIs, business statistics, technical metrics and other data from a variety of sources. These can be either a static or dynamic for varying data sources.



Connectors: EvidantSP is a multi-source analysis engine. Data can be gathered from both live and batch feeds. Connectors are available or planned for most major IT transactional tool vendors products including:

  • Mercury BAC
  • Tivoli ITCAMS
  • Compuware Vantage
  • Auditec Newtest
  • Tevron CitriTest

EvidantSP is has a multi-threaded, multi-connector engine that can collect data as often as it becomes available from the source.
